About the event
Andrea came from a background in the construction, transition and operation of International airports. She has turned her life's work from building airports to building soil! After studying composting, soil and organic horticulture for many years and consulting with worm farming experts around North America, Andrea founded Pacific Composting Co. Her passion for being a part of a natural solution to climate change drives her mission to inspire people to take their waste and turn it into nutrient-rich soil that will create and sustain their gardens and green spaces. Taking what would otherwise be considered waste and transforming it into a highly valuable resource. Pacific Composting Co. focuses on supporting various composting methods such as worm composting, layered and bokashi. The company provides the systems, supplies and support to ensure that people are successful with their composting endeavors and they enjoy the amazing process and benefits.
